Ivan Toney, the Brentford forward, has finally opened up about a club he wants to play for.
Toney says he wants to play for a big club, a team that is competing for the top league table and in a race for other titles.
The 27-year-old player makes his return to football after being banned for eight months for betting.
He makes his return with the idea of joining a big club, and top clubs are in a race for the Brentford striker.
Toney, who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, has not ruled out leaving the Gtech Community Stadium.
“You can never predict when the right time is to move elsewhere, but I think it’s obvious I want to play for a top club.” Toney told Sky Sport.
“Everyone wants to play for a top club that is fighting for titles. Whether it’s this January that is the right time for a club to come in and pay the right money, who knows?
“But my main focus is to do what I do on the pitch and let the background work take care of itself,” Toney concluded.
