Manchester City defeated Newcastle with a 2-3 win at St. James Park in their Premier League debut, after Oscar Bobb netted a late goal to secure a win for City.

Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon scored early goals, giving them a 2-1 lead following a goal opening by Portuguese international player Bernardo Silva.

The match ended with a 2-1 win in the first half of the match at St. James Park Stadium in England.

Kevin De Bruyne, the Belgian player, came in at the 69th minute of the second half and netted the equalizer at the 74th minute.

The Belgium international player scored an incredible late-minute assist,and Bobb secured the late-minute win for Manchester City, securing City a three-point lead at the Premier League table.

City now has 43 points from 20 games, while Eddie Howe’s team is still in 10th place with 29 points from 21 games. Despite nearly holding on for a point against the UEFA Champions League holders, City lost for the sixth time in seven games.

With the three points, City moved up to second place in the Premier League standings, with Liverpool in the lead.
