Marquinhos, the Gunner’s forward who was on loan, has made his return to the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, has brought the Brazilian player, who was on loan, back home.

The Gunners disclosed this in a statement via their website on Friday.

Marquinhos was recalled from his loan spell at Ligue 1 club FC Nantes.

The 20-year-old Brazilian will be on his way soon to the under-23 national team for their 2024 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament held in Venezuela.

Marquinhos made his Premier League debut in Arsenal’s 3-0 win at Brentford before joining Championship side Norwich City on loan last January.

“We welcome Marquinhos back to the club and wish him all the best for the international tournament and his continued development,” Arsenal’s statement read in part.

The Brazilian is now set to be part of the Arteta squad at Emirates.
