Darren Bent, the former Tottenham Hotspur player, has revealed ex-Liverpool star plans to return to the Premier League.
Brent reveals that he believes the ex-Reds star Roberto Firmino will not join his ex-club rivals Chelsea in the ongoing January transfer window.
Chelsea is on a move to bring in a top-class striker to boost their strength in scoring goals.
Firmino has been linked with a move to join the Blues at Staform Brigde.
“The Blues are also eyeing a deal for the French Player Karim Benzema, who is now in the Saudi Pro League on a short-term basis,” according to The Telegraph.
Speaking on the announcement, Bent stated that Firmino’s return to the Premier League is unlikely for a number of reasons.
“Chelsea and Liverpool, that the history there; they don’t like each other at all,” Brent told talkSPORT.
“Would he go? I can’t see Firmino going there; I just can’t.”
