Jamie Carragher, the Liverpool legend, has revealed the plans of Jurgen Klopp for the player he wants to sign over Salah.
Carragher has said that Klopp has picked up interest in signing Julian Brandt.
The Egyptian forward was signed from AS Roma to Liverpool at the fee of £37 million and moved to the Premier League.
Salah has created much history at Liverpool, bringing home some trophy for the club, and has cemented his status as a Liverpool icon at Anfield.
“When he initially came in, an interesting one was Mohamed Salah, and Jurgen Klopp is open about this. He didn’t want to sign him; he wanted Julian Brandt,” Carragher said on the Stick to Football podcast (Daily Mail quoted).
The Saudi Pro League has much interest in bringing the Liverpool star to their league.
“Looking at Mohamed Salah’s history at Liverpool, it’s been such incredible stats.”
