Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has admitted he stopped a thief while on holiday in Sweden.
The centre-half was outside his house when he saw a thief trying to steal a purse from his 90-year-old aunt.
Lindelof did his bit as a good samaritan, holding the man until the police came to deal with the situation.
Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet quotes Lindelof as saying: “Everything went very fast. I did not think much.
“I just wanted to help my aunt get her bag back and what she had in it.
“It was nothing more than that, I just wanted to help.”
