John Terry, the Chelsea legend, has some incredible remarks for Alfie Gilchrist as the next star at Stamford Bridge.
The legend shows so much love for and praises the center-back after his debut against Crystal Palace.
Terry said the “20-year-old player is really, really a good player. He’s got an unbelievable attitude.”
Gilchrist came on as a substitute for Benoit Badiashile and made his first professional debut for Chelsea in their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
Since he was eight years old, he has attended the club. Every day, he performs so well and completes everything correctly. I believe he has a strong chance.
Terry said, “I believe we discussed the young players going on loan, and I believe Alfie’s next move is to go on loan the following season, after which you should assess his performance.
“I am hoping for a few games from Alfie as the season progresses, and I am expecting big things from him.”
