For the 2024–2025 season, Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund will wear a different jersey number.
Hojlund wore number eleven during his first season at Old Trafford.
The Danish international is reportedly going to don the No. 9 jersey that Anthony Martial wore the previous campaign, according to The United Stand.
Martial left the team after his contract expired.
Hojlund will be following in the footsteps of legendary United players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Andy Cole, Sir Bobby Charlton, and Dimitar Berbatov now that he is wearing the No. 9 shirt.
Joshua Zirkzee, the most recent addition, is expected to take over the No. 11 jersey now that Hojlund has a new number. He had worn the numbers 9, 10, and 11 while playing for Dutch youth teams.
