The legendary Ian Wright of Arsenal advises the team to sign a top-class striker during the January transfer window.
Wright picked Victor Osimhen of Napoli as their first choice that the club should look forward to signing in the window transfer.
He talked to the club after their home defeat at the Emirates Stadium, which they lost to West Ham United 0-2.
Despite the Gunners dominating the most encounters against the Hammers, with a lot of chances created, they missed the opportunity to get back to the top of the Premier League table.
“Wright, explain the kind of striker that Arsenal should go for—a top-end striker—that will hit the ground running up and down, disturbing the opposing defense, like Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen,” he told Premier League Productions.
“An attacker who can score goals and fit in right away is what Arsenal will need if they want to succeed right now.
They most likely need that right now. We need a killer in front of goal, and I don’t think any Arsenal supporter will watch the game and not see that.”
Ivan Toney of Brentford, Osimhen, and Dominic Solanke of Bournemouth have all been linked to Arsenal.
