Sergio Aguero has named Manchester United as the club that may challenge Manchester City for the Premier League trophy.
With 28 points from 17 games, Erik ten Hag’s team is in seventh place, 11 points behind league leader Arsenal.
Out of the 25 games played thus far this season, United have suffered 12 losses.
Manchester United are not in their best form this season, and they have key players with injuries. But despite their poor performance, Aguero still chose them as the outstanding team to contend with Manchester City for the Premier League title.
“At this point in the season, you can never take Manchester United for granted. They pose a serious danger to Manchester City’s chances of winning the Premier League.
Additionally, I believe Tottenham, who have greatly improved under Ange Postecoglou, is a title candidate.
“Despite their ups and downs, Newcastle is also a contender for the title because they never give up,” Aguero said to Stake.
Sergio Aguero believes these three clubs will be the title contender.
